Benny Montrose McCall broke free of his earthly bonds and joined his Lord and Savior on August 23, 2021, in his heavenly household.   He handed at his dwelling in North Myrtle Beach front, SC, surrounded by his spouse and children.   

Benny was predeceased by his organic mother and father, Vivian Cooke Montrose and Boyd Montrose, and his adoptive moms and dads, Eva Cooke McCall and C.O. “Mac” McCall, as nicely as his sister, June McCall, and two brothers, David Montrose and Chris Montrose.   Additionally, he was predeceased by his niece, Eva Marie McCall, and most loved uncle, W. W.. “Bubba” Cooke.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-5 several years, Linda Wilson McCall of  the dwelling, and daughter, Vivian Ann McCall, of Myrtle Beach, SC. On top of that, he is survived by a sister, Amanda Montrose Ford (David) of Great Falls, S.C., brothers, Derek Montrose and Paul Montrose of Bennettsville, SC, sisters-in-law, Phyllis Wilson Preston, of the household, and Pat Montrose, of Florence, nephew, Shawn (Tab) Preston, little ones, Shannon, Hailey and Coy, of Bennettsville, SC, niece, Debbie McCall Davis, (Chuck), Rock Hill, SC., Erik Grayson, N. Charleston, SC., Amber (Anthony) Grayson, of California, Kathleen (Carl) Gibson, Greenville, SC., James (MacKenzie) Grayson, Clemson, SC., Sarah Beth Davis, of Columbia, SC., Rebekah Davis and Luke Davis, of Rock Hill, SC., Alexa (Jeromy) Maglio, of Belews Creek, NC.,  Sarah Ford Contakos (Chris), of Greenwood, SC, and Rebeccah Ford Thomas (Jason), of Lexington, SC., cousin, Buddy McColl, of Piedmont, SC, as nicely as other nieces and nephews.      On top of that, he is survived by his substantially beloved cat, Maddie McCall, and grandcat, Zoey McCall.

Benny liked his God, his family and pals, and his Gamecocks.   There was not a sport he did not like and liked Beach Music and the Shag Dance.

Benny served as a Volunteer Fireman with the Bennettsville Fireplace Division for over forty several years before retiring, served as President of the neighborhood Jaycees, and served voluntarily on many boards and committees both in Bennettsville and afterwards in his retirement residence of North Myrtle Beach, SC.   

Benny was a true servant and expended a lot of his lifestyle supplying of his time and skills in a voluntary capacity from an early age.   As a teen, he volunteered as a mentor of Small League Baseball, Church League Basketball, and through his grownup existence as a volunteer mentor of  the youth of Marlboro County.  He was a Charter Member of Youth Football as perfectly as other youth athletics.  To several he was regarded simply as “Coach”. He labored his overall grownup lifestyle ending with his retirement from  Marlboro County.         

The household will receive readers on Thursday, August 26 at McMillan-Small Funeral Residence in Myrtle Seashore, SC at 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, with a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM. Interment will adhere to at Southern Palms Memorial Gardens in North Myrtle Seaside, SC.

Memorials could be manufactured in lieu of bouquets to Bennettsville Volunteer Fireplace Office or The North Myrtle Seaside Humane Culture
