M. Verna Gill, 98, of Hamilton handed away Monday, September 7, 2021 at St. Patrick Clinic in Missoula. Verna, as she was affectionately known as, was born February 7th, 1923 to Harlan and Ethel Mullen in Sand Level Idaho. She moved to Montana when she was 10 times old.
Verna went to college in Billings, MT and married Giles Gill in 1939, and jointly they ranched in Purple Lodge, Martinsdale and lived in quite a few areas in Japanese MT. They moved to the Bitterroot Valley in 1946 and experienced a few ranches in the Bitterroot and owned numerous properties and a Motel.
Verna labored as a clerk in Anthony’s and Fords in downtown Hamilton for several several years prior to going into Authentic Estate. She purchased and sold residence for quite a few a long time. She is survived by her daughter, Patricia Nolz (Hamilton) her son, Larry Gill and wife Sandi, (Corvallis) her brother, Bob Mullen (Hamilton) her sister, Doris Stevens (Hamilton) her sister, Pat Jackson and husband, Chuck Jackson (Washington) Sharon McMillan, (California) grandchildren, James Nolz (Hamilton), Jason Nolz (New Mexico), Carri Ellison and partner Jim, (Wyoming), Lori Gehrisch, (California), Allan Gill and wife Debbie, (Colorado), and Michelle Maxwell and partner Darren, (Minnesota) good-grandchildren, Megan Uzzell, (Hamilton), Jessie Ellison (Washington DC) and Tyler and Addison Nolz (New Mexico) terrific-fantastic-grandchildren, James and Jack Uzzell (Hamilton). Verna was preceded in loss of life by spouse, Giles Gill son, Jack Gill brother, Charles Mullen and twin sisters, Marilyn Hanby and Madalyn Johnson.
At Verna’s request there will be no funeral services. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 at 11:00 am at Riverview Cemetery in Hamilton. Condolences may possibly be remaining for the loved ones at www.dalyleachchapel.com.
